After writing my last post about The Helper, I googled 26 in Hebrew. The results were 9,990,000. (999) in gematria means judgement. 26 in Hebrew Abigail. The meaning of Abigail is "My Father is joy."

When we think of judges or judgement, typically we think of it as a bad thing. Recently I have been hearing and watching youtube videos about judgement being a form of restoration. It brings new beginnings as in the case of Rachel in Genesis 30.

And Raḥĕl said, “Elohim has rightly ruled my case, and has also heard my voice and given me a son.” So she called his name Dan.

                                                        Genesis 30:6

Leah was hated by Yaaqob (Jacob) and YHWH judged her situation and gave her 5 sons while Rachel was loved by Yaaqob and was barren. Rachel had to conceive sons by Yaaqob through giving him her maidservants as wives. Rachel bore Dan first. His name has two meanings.
Dan’s name is given as a circumstance of his birth (first verse) and foreshadows its destiny as a tribe.

Also, Dan is spelled Dalet, Nun. Dalet is the doorway and Nun is the seed. Combined these mean "Door of the Seed". It's a picture of reproduction. The door is the woman and the seed comes from the man. A life is a new beginning. Dan was the father of one of the 12 tribes of Yashar'el. The tribe of Dan also has weights and scales for their banner.

Judgement can be a good thing if when you are found guilty, you repent of your ways and do a Teshuva. It's an act of returning. Like the prodigal son returning home after going astray. He realized he was wrong and on the wrong path and he belonged with his father, just as we belong with our Father. If we find ourselves on the wrong path because of decisions that we've made, we can always stop what we are doing and return to the Father. When we get to that point of judgement, it can either defeat us or restore us.

24“יהוה bless you and guard you;

25יהוה make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you;

26יהוה lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.” ’ Numbers 6:24-26
